Policy Regarding Use of Dup15q Alliance Trademarks
The trademarks, logos, and service marks (“Marks”) displayed on this website, and related websites belonging to Dup15q Alliance, including the Dup15q Alliance logo, among others, are trademarks of the Dup15q Alliance, are the property of Dup15q Alliance, and are protected. Their uses are restricted to those programs and events sponsored by Dup15q Alliance, and Dup15q Alliance trademarks may not be used for personal financial gain. Use of the Marks is prohibited without the express written consent of Dup15q Alliance. Nothing contained on the Site should be construed as granting, by implication, estoppel, or otherwise, any license or right to use the Marks without the express written consent of Dup15q Alliance.
At times, Dup15q Alliance may grant limited-use licensing agreements to those individuals or groups who wish to help further the mission of Dup15q Alliance. Solely at the discretion of Dup15q Alliance, limited permission for use of Dup15q Alliance’s Marks may be granted for those projects which provide a substantial benefit to Dup15q Alliance or the chromosome 15q duplication syndrome community in general. For consideration, please submit, in writing, a letter of intent, which details how the Dup15q Alliance’s Marks will be used, the length of time they will be used, and the benefit of the project to Dup15q Alliance or the chromosome 15q duplication syndrome community to email@example.com at least 45 days prior to launch. Chantal Sicile-Kira has been involved with autism spectrum disorders for more than 20 years as both a parent of son with dup15q and a professional. She is an award-winning author, speaker and leader in the field of adolescence and transition to adulthood.
Sheila Merzer is a licensed psychologist who has worked with at least six individuals with dup15q syndrome in the field of autism since 1972. She specializes in providing assessments, consultations and training services for educational and therapeutic interventions supporting students with autism spectrum disorders.
David Geslak is an autism fitness specialist and has been developing exercise programs for youth and adults with autism spectum disorders since 2004. His mission is to educate and empower parents, educators and physicians to become leaders in health and fitness for individuals with autism and developmental disorders.

On Thursday from 12:30 -5:30 pm, babysitting services will be provided in our childcare room by Above and Beyond Nannies, Inc. for both our Dup15q children, as well as typical siblings. Above and Beyond Nannies, Inc. has provided nanny services for over 15 years in both home and conference settings, with experience dealing with special needs children. They will provide nannies in an appropriate ratio to watch our children, including toileting as needed. The room will be filled with activities that both our Dup15q children, as well as typical children, can enjoy. With babysitting services provided, it is our hope that all adult family members will be able to participate in the family support sessions, which are typically some of the most popular and appreciated sessions of the entire conference. On Friday from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm and Saturday from 8:30 am - 1:30 pm, a respite room will be provied. An adult family member must be present with either a Dup15q child or typical siblings to use this room. The room will be filled with activities that both our Dup15q chidlren, as well as typical children, can enjoy.
